| Students win principal's challenge Students at North Elementary School watched the teachers shave Mr. Barnes bald. On Friday, students participated in a dance marathon to raise money for Riley Hospital. Mr. Barnes challenged the students if they could raise $1,000 then he would shave his head. The students exceeded that amount by raising $1,233.76. Thanks to all the student council members and student council sponsors Mrs. Harvey and Mrs. Law for all their hard work in organizing the fundraiser.

| North Elementary podcasts North Elementary students and staff have been working on learning how to create podcasts. Classroom teachers and the library media specialist worked together to learn how to create and post a podcast to the web. Then, they worked to find ways to encorporate this technology into their classroom lessons and instructions. Students learned how to create podcasts and each grade level and teacher found unique ways to use this technology. See their hard work at: http://www.nobl.k12.in.us/media/NorthMedia/students/OnlineTools/wnor.HTM We look forward to finding other ways to continue to use podcasting all school year!!!
